La seconda edizione della San Francesco Marathon si svolgerà domenica 22 novembre 2026.
Nuova edizione della San Francesco Marathon sullo stesso percorso del 2025. L’intento è il medesimo di sempre, unire sotto i valori Francescani lo sport, l’amicizia, la fraternità. “I Bless You Life”, ti benedico vita, è il messaggio che verrà lanciato in occasione di un evento di richiamo internazionale.
L’appuntamento è per domenica 22 novembre 2026 con la 42k su strada.
Running involves not only the body but also the mind and heart. Commitment, perseverance, discipline are some aspects that shape the lifestyle of a runner. Running also expresses a depth that involves the spiritual dimension, which goes beyond the physical aspect and moves desire, joy, passion.
Questa manifestazione non sarà solo un evento sportivo, ma cercherà di unire la corsa con la solidarietà. Si potrà contribuire a sostenere alcuni progetti di aiuto delle associazioni del territorio, in modo particolare per i più fragili.

BIB AND RACE BAG COLLECTION
The race bib is personal and may not be given away or exchanged. It must be attached to the chest with four pins in such a way that it is fully visible: it cannot be folded and must remain intact.
The chip will be placed on the back of the bib and must not be removed under any circumstances, on pain of exclusion from the classification.
I pettorali potranno essere ritirati dai rappresentanti delle società o dagli atleti presso l'Expo village nei giorni di, venerdì 20 novembre dalle 10 alle 19 e sabato 21 novembre dalle 10 alle 19.
Solo per i residenti di fuori regione sarà possibile ritirare il pettorale la mattina stessa della gara fino alle ore 8.15 in zona partenza.

The start will take place at 9.35 a.m. The start is scheduled in the city of Assisi, the finish is Santa Maria degli Angeli in front of the Sanctuary in Viale Patrono d'Italia. Athletes will be able to take free shuttles from Santa Maria degli Angeli (finish area and Lyrick parking area) to Porta Nuova. From here the athletes will be taken on a 1.4 km guided city route to the pre-start meeting point in Piazza Inferiore di San Francesco. Participants will be able to leave their rucksacks with the race package. (only grant allowed) in special red lorries located in the start area and will be found in the finish area.N.B. It is recommended in any case to park in Assisi (see Info-race) and then take the shuttle at the end of the race.

Please bring everything you will need during the run. On the route you will find a refreshment point every 5 kilometres. At the refreshment points, our staff will sort you between the various tables. Please do not stop except for the time strictly necessary to take the products, so as to avoid crowds.Services on arrival
Shortly after the finish line you will find the refreshment point with water, supplements, fruit to celebrate your achievement and the participation medal.Timekeeping
Race timing will be provided by Icron Professional Timing. The timing device (chip) will be disposable and attached to the race bib; sensors will record the actual time each athlete takes to complete the race. The microchips are personal and non-transferable. Times and rankings will be available in real time during the race on our website.
