The appointment is on Sunday, November 5, 2023 with the approximately 5 km non-competitive road walk/run, a collateral event to the first marathon in the city of Assisi dedicated to Saint Francis.
"Vieni con Me" (Come with Me) is open to everyone and has been designed for families, companions, and anyone who wants to take part in a day of celebration and sports. The start is always from the Basilica of San Francesco of Assisi and the finish is at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
The route winds along the primary road of the Franciscan itineraries, passing through the cobblestone road that connects Assisi to Santa Maria. The road links the two main places of devotion to the Saint, uniting them in a single pilgrimage itinerary. On a path of probable Roman origin, this road already connected the city to the small chapel of Porziuncola at the foot of the hill at the time of Saint Francis.
"Vieni con Me" involves not only the body but also the mind and heart. It is a run or walk that also expresses a depth that involves the spiritual dimension, which goes beyond the physical aspect and that moves desire, joy, and passion.
This event will not just be a sports event, but it will try to unite participation, running, and solidarity. Registration will help support some aid projects of the Diocese of Assisi and the civil institutions of the area, particularly for the most vulnerable.

The registration fee is set at 6 euros.

The start will take place around 9.00 a.m. The exact time will be determined the day before the race based on organizational and television transmission needs. The start will follow that of the Marathon and 10.2k.Seasonal weather conditions:

Race numbers will be assigned progressively according to the date of registration (those who register first will receive a lower bib number).Timing
The race timing will be provided by Icron. The detection device (chip) will be applied to the back of the race bib and on the shoe; the sensors will record the actual time each athlete will take to complete the race. The microchips are personal and non-transferable. Times and rankings will be available in real time during the race on our website.Services along the route
