Winning the 10.2K San Francesco Marathon was also a whole city, thanks also to the benevolent weather that rewarded the race with a warm sun, took to the streets to encourage the 260 athletes called to cover the kilometers of road that physically and spiritually connected the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi to that of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
